If you have not already, please connect to class dojo page. This page allows you to access your child's behavior progress, see classroom photos, and contact me through messaging. Your student's have the opportunity to earn or lose dojo points each day depending on their choices. Once students earn a certain amount of dojo points, they win prizes!
Homework
Each day your student will have homework, with the exception of Fridays. For math, they will be bringing home one sheet to complete each night. We will complete the "classwork" side together during the school day, and the back is simply homework. For reading, they are required to read for at least 20 minutes each night to practice fluency and comprehension. In addition, whatever work is not completed in class, is also homework.
Weekly Folders/Agendas
Please be sure to check and sign your student's agenda every night. Their agenda is where they write their homework for the week. You are also welcome to write a note in their agenda, if there's something you need to communicate with me. Orange weekly folders should be checked every Monday. On Mondays you will receive the weekly newsletter with updates and important dates throughout the week. I may pass out papers throughout the week that need to be checked as well.
